Arabesque Academy's main downtown Toronto studio at Yonge & Bloor offers six or more adult classes a day every day of the week except Friday. All of the hand-picked and highly trained [instructors] at this and other locations have received personal training with internationally acclaimed director Yasmina Ramzy and famous Egyptian dance stars. Arabesque instructors not only are proponents of the renowned Arabesque technique but are chosen for their warmth, patience and strong desire to teach. Since 1987, Arabesque has been the training ground and launching pad for many of the most prominent Middle Eastern Dance artists in Toronto and across Canada.

The comprehensive program at Arabesque offers its standardized curriculum with a strong technical Bellydance foundation as well as in-depth experience with many Middle Eastern folklore styles, live Arabic musicians and specialized classes in fusion forms, Tribal and with props such as the veil, finger cymbals, cane, sword, shamadan, etc. Students at Arabesque receive a well-rounded education in an encouraging and exciting environment with the emphasis on Bellydance as an ancient and respected high art.
