Arabesque Academy attracts serious students from around the globe to study at its warm and bustling downtown Toronto studios. Arabesque is world renowned for its in-depth, standardized curriculum featuring authentic and traditional Middle Eastern dance and music. It is the home of Arabesque Dance Company & Orchestra and the host of the International Bellydance Conference of Canada and as such has a global reputation for elevating Bellydance to the status of High Art and receivng numerous awards from all levels of arts councils.

Arabesque International has satellite studios all over the World with many locations throughout the Toronto area. The Arabesque environment fosters creativity with a firm foundation in high technical standards and a deep understanding of cultural folklore and Arabic music. Other learning opportunities include master guest teachers from the Middle East, a Summer Camp in Southern Ontario, a Winter Camp in Egypt, study tours to Egypt and an Intensive Professional Course.

Students at Arabesque Academy have many performance opportunities including the bi-annual Student Galas and Arabesque Soirees. In addition, there are opportunities for students to perform with live musicians at Al Khaima events and the weekly nightclub, Layali Arabesque. Those who reach a professional level are given the opportunity to audition for the internationally acclaimed Arabesque Dance Company and Orchestra, to receive employment with the Arabesque Agency, and/or become a teacher at the Academy.
