Our highly trained male and female dance artists and musicians have extensive experience in performing on prominent international stages. Directors Yasmina Ramzy, Bassam Bishara, and Suleiman Warwar ensure all Arabesque artists continue to excel in their technical and artistic expertise, aesthetic qualities, stage presence and outgoing, friendly personalities.
Arabesque Dancers are world renowned as Canada's top proponents of many styles of Middle Eastern dance specializing in Bellydance, Whirling Dervish, Khaleegy, Assaya (Cane), Tahtiib, Dabki, Shamadan, Milaya, Hagallah, Saiidi, Port Said, Zaar, Classical Raqs Sharqi, Mohamed Ali Street style, Turkish Roma, all with appropriate male/female folklore roles.
Arabesque Musicians are masters in a wide range of Arab music styles including Classical, Contemporary, Regional and Muwashshahaat. Musical instruments include oude, violin, qanun, naye, trumpet, bagpipes, keyboard, rababa, tabla/derbeki (dumbek), daholla, riqq, qatim, tabal, mazhar, segat. Lead male vocals - Bassam Bishara. Lead female vocals - Najwa Tannus.

Lead Arabesque dance artist in a 20 minute performance to pre-recorded music with option of audience participation.

Lead Arabesque dance artist in a 20 minute performance accompanied by 2 drummers, including Drum Mania performance, with option of audience participation.

Two male or female dance artists in ensemble format perform two choreographies back to back followed immediately with audience participation for a total of 15 minutes.

Three female dance artists in ensemble format perform two choreographies back to back followed immediately with optional audience participation for a total of 15 minutes.

Dance Trio & Whirling Dervish
Four dance artists in a 20 minute ensemble performance with pre-recorded music — one choreography performed by trio of dance artists followed solo Whirling Dervish while trio changes costumes and then return to perform second ensemble choreography followed by audience participation.

Dance Trio & 2 Drummers
Three dance artists in a 20 minute ensemble performance — one choreography performed by trio of dance artists to pre-recorded music followed by Drum Mania while dance artists change costumes and then return to perform with the drummers followed by optional audience participation.

Dance Solo & Duet
With pre-recorded music in a 20 minute performance, a male or female lead Arabesque solo Bellydance or Folklore dance artist performs one choreography followed by a male or female Bellydance or folkore duet while dance artist changes costume and returns to perform another choreography and the duet returns to join for audience participation. Could also be a the duet performs 2 choreography with a solo such as Whirling Dervish between while duet changes costume.

Folklore Dance Package
Five lead Arabesque dance artists in a 20 minute performance with pre-recorded music — a quartet of 2 female and 2 male dance artists perform one Folklore choreography (Saiidi or Dabki or Port Said) followed by a soloist performing Whirling Dervish while quartet changes costume and then returns for a another folklore choreography followed by audience participation.
Large Dance Ensemble Package
Eight lead Arabesque dance artists in a 20 minute performance with pre-recorded music — 7 dance artists perform a choreography (Bellydance or Dabki or Khaleegy or Turkish Roma or Assaya) followed by a Whirling Dervish while ensemble changes costume and then return to perform a second choreography or your choice.
Zaffeh & Show
If the Zaffeh and Show are performed together within a one hour time period, substantial discounts can be made from combining these packages. If Zaffeh is performed earlier in evening and the Show later, pricing is applicable as separate performances. Please see ZAFFEH.
Drum Mania
Lead Dumbek artist Suleiman Warwar and the Arabesque Drummers - up to 13 drummers - perform with percussion including Daholla, riqq, qatim, etc.

Requirements for Performers
- Good Sound System
- Clear dance space of 100 square feet per dancer
- Floor suitable for dancing in bare feet
- Private secure change area - not public washroom
- Microphones and boom arm stands as required
